Travelling Book Fair

We had a successful visit from the Kent travelling book fair, making £250 commission for books for the school.
From the 4th to 11th February, the familiar sight of black cases met the children walking past the library, that signalled our annual visit from the book fair.
There were books of every genre, for children from all 4 classes, along with some funky stationery. There were humorous poetry books, picture books, mystery books and a touching story about a beloved dog. Some books were so popular that they sold out and more copies had to be ordered.
The school are given a share of the total money spent, that they can spend on books from the catalogue- including some that were on the shelves and some that weren't.
We look forward to welcoming the travelling fair back again next year and thank

The teachers are looking forward to picking some exciting new books for their classrooms.
