Dear Parents
The children have certainly got into the spirit of World Book Day with lots of fabulous costumes and pairs of pyjamas appearing through the gate this morning! It was a very colourful assembly! Thank you for sending in some of your Xtreme reading photographs: the children have certainly used their imagination!

Noticeboard

Next Friday we are supporting Comic Relief. For a forfeit of £1 the children can wear something red (and a nose if they so wish!). There are several choices as to how we can spend the money we raise and the children will decide this in an assembly next Friday. Look out for the posters around school. During the course of the day the children will be engaged in some activities, and at 2.30pm the Dancing Diva will be leading a performance of the official Comic Relief song on the playground.
Children in Key Stage 1 will be taking part in a Top Play multi-skills festival at Rye College next Wednesday morning. Details to follow.
Children in Mrs Davies’ class are visiting the Museum of Kent Life in Maidstone on March 18th, as part of their topic on the Tudors. A separate letter has been sent out for this trip. Please see Mrs Davies if you can help out. A big thank you to the PSA for funding this trip.

The PSA will be organising an Easter event on Saturday 28th March. This will include an Easter egg hunt, jumble sale, tombola and a whole range of activities. This is a new venture for the school and one that I hope you will be able to support If you can help out on the day please speak to Debbie Keen, Martine Bailey or Sue Haffenden.

And finally…
School is closed on Friday 6th March for staff training. But may I wish you all a pleasant and relaxing weekend!
