Dear Parents
Thank you for supporting Comic Relief today! The children have raised £100 so far. We also received mountains of cakes to sell at the end of the day. The children will be voting as to how they would like the money to be spent. I shall keep you informed.
Easter Fair
Items for the fair have started to come in to school. Thank you if you have already made a contribution. Please keep them coming in! Debbie Keen and Dawn Penfold have been making resources for the event, but want to gauge a rough estimate of numbers on the day. Please could you indicate this information on a slip your child should bring home today and return it to the office.
Parking
The Parish Council have asked me to once again to remind you about parking sensibly along the lane, particularly on the trianglular piece of land, which is increasingly being churned up by motor vehicles. I’ve also been told that P.C. Dan Bevan will be making impromptu appearances next week. Thank you for your co-operation!
School website
This continues to be updated and added to. If you have time please do go online at www.playdenschool.com to hear about World Book Day last week and see photographs of children reading in highly unusual places. There is also a useful educational website designed for parents at www.parentsintouch.co.uk, which you may want to take a look at.
Vouchers for schools
We are collecting vouchers from both Tesco and Sainsbury. So if you are shopping in those stores we would welcome your vouchers!
And finally…
May I wish you all a pleasant and relaxing weekend!
