Dear Parents
Thank you once again for all the cakes you sent in last Friday for the mammoth cake sale in aid of Comic Relief. We raised in excess of £200 (a fantastic amount), which we shall be sending off to the charity in due course.

Noticeboard
Thank you to the parents who accompanied Mrs Davies’ class to the Kent Museum of Rural Life on Wednesday. It was a brilliant trip and one that was both fun but highly educational.
We played two football matches against Northiam school earlier in the week: Year 3/4 won 4-1 and Y5/6 narrowly lost 2-1 in the final minutes!

You should have received letters inviting you to make an appointment to discuss your child’s progress with his/her class teacher. Mr Cook’s appointments will be re-arranged in the near future.

There is a keyboard concert next Wednesday afternoon at 2.50pm. If your child is in Mrs Wilson’s group you are most welcome to come and hear them play.

It isn’t long until the new swimming season starts at school. If you are interested in helping out around the pool (especially with the younger children) then you will need to complete a CRB form, which can be collected from Mrs Bristow. This is to
comply with the statutory requirements outlined by East Sussex County Council. These forms usually take about six weeks to process, so don’t delay! We value parental support, without which we could not let the children swim.

And finally…
May I wish you all a pleasant and relaxing weekend!
