Saturday 28 March 2009
Dear Parents
The PSA have been extremely busy with the preparations for the Easter Fete, which takes place in school from 11am until 2pm. We are hoping for some fine weather so that the event can take place outside. I hope you will be able to drop in and enjoy the event, especially the Easter egg hunt on the field!
Noticeboard
Swimming at Rye Pool has now finished for the season. We are currently in the process of getting our own pool ready for the Summer season. As I mentioned in last week’s newsletter, if you are interested in helping out in the pool, please can you
collect a CRB form from Mrs Bristow in the office. The whole process can take up to six weeks.
There is a netball match against Northiam school next Wednesday. Miss Newton will be sending out separate letters
to those children involved.
All the children will be bringing home today a menu for school dinners. If you would like your child to have a cooked lunch please could you indicate your menu choices and return to the office by Tuesday. All meals are now steamed on site, so what you order is what you get! The menu takes effect from the beginning of Term 5 (Monday April 20th).
We break up for the Easter holidays next Friday.
During the Easter holidays the remaining part of the boundary fence will be completed to make the site secure.
And finally…
May I wish you all a pleasant and relaxing weekend. I hope many of you will be able to come to the fete tomorrow.
