Super Sports Success

On Wednesday 17th June year 6 took part in the Rye Area Athletics at Rye College.
Each school was given a country to represent and the morning began with a parade, St Michael's was given England and took part in the parade with flags, face paints, a bowler hat and more.

Children were split in to 20 groups and competed against pupils from other schools at long jump, triple jump, javelin and 80m sprint, points were given for the performance in each event and then 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each group were given medals. The final event was a relay with 6 children running 80m legs.
