Dear Parents
The glorious weather continues to bathe us in warm autumnal sunshine and enabled us on Tuesday to have a new whole school photograph taken in the playground. Children in Miss Newton’s class also had a fantastic visit to Rye Fire Station. You can view some photographs on our website.

Harvest Festival
You are warmly invited to our Harvest Festival at Playden Church next Thursday afternoon at 2pm, when Captain Paul Tyler will be leading our special service. We are inviting the children to start bringing tins, packets and other items of food to school from Monday, although we would encourage them to bring any fresh fruit or vegetables on either Wednesday or Thursday. We shall display all the produce in the church and distribute it locally, where it will be much needed. If you are unable to come to our service please ensure that your child is picked up from church at 2.45pm.

Cool Cats Award
Children in Miss Newton’s and Mr Cook’s classes have had the best attendance in the first two weeks of the Cool Cats campaign.

House Captains for the year are Milo (Falcons), Ollie-May (Hawks), Eve (Eagles) and Oliver Skinner (Kites). Congratulations to them all!
