Dear Parents
If you live locally you may aware that for the whole of this week we have temporarily lost contact with the outside world, as both our email and internet connection have been down. Apparently BT say the cause of the problem is a fallen tree
somewhere in a field nearby! Our apologies if you have been trying to contact the school via email this week. It also means we have limited access to clip art for this newsletter!
Noticeboard
We look forward to entertaining the Iden Good Companions next week. This has always been one of my favourite dates in the calendar. They will be visiting us on Tuesday.
We wish the girls football team good luck next week when they will be competing in the final stages of the 6 a-side tournament at Bexhill College next Tuesday afternoon. A separate letter will be sent out.
Christmas lunch reminder
If you would like your child to have a Christmas lunch please could you
return your order form as soon as possible and by Wednesday 25th
November at the latest. If you have any queries please speak to
Mrs Bristow.
New recruits
Don’t forget , if you know of any parents who have children starting school next September please let me know. We have advertised the first of two open mornings - Tuesday 8th December - in this week’s editions of the Wealden Advertiser and the Rye and Battle Observers.
And finally…
A band of volunteers will be going in to school this weekend (weather permitting, of course!) to spruce up the fencing around the swimming pool. My thanks to James Sanderson and the rest of the crew!
In the meantime may I wish you all a pleasant and relaxing weekend, despite the weather forecast!
