All the fun of the fair

Crowds turned out on a beautiful Saturday afternoon for our annual summer fair, which was a huge success. There was plenty to see and do and enjoy, including a fantastic bouncy castle obstacle course, which proved extremely popular with children of all ages. There were numerous events in the arena including a rousing performance by the Dancing Diva and her troupe of dancers. This was followed by a skilful karate demonstration and the wonderful dance group, Splitz. The icing on the cake was provided by a lovely solo spot on vocals and guitar by parent Kelly Bourne and her daughter Amber, who also sang beautifully and with complete confidence. The crowds lapped it all up!

The event culminated in the joint gunging of class teacher, Toby Cook and governor, David Rhys-Jones. All through the week the stakes remained high, as every morning parents voted with cash as to whom they would like to see gunged. Headteacher, John Greenway, was mightily relieved that he escaped this gooey fate, despite a late run. But it was all carried out with great spirit and humour and raised well over £200 on its own.

The whole event was superbly masterminded by James Sanderson and his brilliant team on the PSA! A splendid time was had by all!
