Dear Parents,
I hope you will come and see our outdoor stage area situated at the far end of the playground, which was completed yesterday. I am sure the children will be able to creatively use the space for a whole host of purposes.
After the ordeal
You should have received a copy of the inspection report undertaken recently by the Diocese of Chichester. As a staff we are very pleased with the findings of the report. Please let me know if you have any comments. We shall also publish the report on our website.
Staff news
Ms Ryding will unfortunately be leaving St Michaels at the end of next week to take up a full-time post at the St Leonards
Academy. Ms Ryding has been working here with superb dedication and commitment since 2005. We shall be extremely sorry to see her move on. However, I am sure you will want to join me in wishing her every success in her new role.
Cross country success
Congratulations to all the children who took part in the cross country event at William Parker School on Wednesday. They certainly didn’t let the boys and girls from the big Hastings faze them either! Special congratulations must go to Olly who won the Year 3/4 boys event and to Evelyn who came 2nd in the Year 3/4 girls event. Cosmo came 9th and Healey 13th in their respective events. All of them qualify for the next phase. Fantastic!!
