Godly Play in Class 2
Mrs Mason, from the Diocese of Chichester, based in Hove, came to school some time ago to lead a session on godly play with Miss Palmer's class. This involved Mrs Mason re-telling the Bible story of the Good Shepherd using artefacts and questioning to bring the story alive. This approach makes religious education accessible to children at their own level, and we plan to build some more of these lessons into the teaching of R.E. in the near future.
